An essential and reliable product

Bitumen is not just for roads! Bitumen is vital to all kinds of construction and infrastructure projects, large and small.
Without bitumen our world would be a very different place; Our cities and our houses would be very different; our lives would be less mobile and less connected. This valuable material has countless uses and applications, and more are being discovered every year, thanks to research and development within the bitumen industry.

Bitumen is not only flexible and multi-functional, it has a number of other benefits, too; It is fast to install and safe to use, as well as being durable and hard-wearing. It is easy to maintain and 100% recyclable, making it the perfect choice for forward-thinking construction and infrastructure projects.

Processing industries

Pulp-paper industries

In the pulp-paper industry, bitumen is used for the storage of reinforced and waterproof reinforced papers, capable for example of ensuring the tightness of your packages and suitable for the packaging of heavy products and parts intended for export.

Lacquer & Varnish

Bituminous varnish is a black, waterproof coating designed on the basis of bitumen. This varnish provides protection and waterproofing of concrete, cements, bricks, foundations, foundations, buried elements, etc. and protection of metals against rust, acids, humidity and corrosion (metal structures, machine frames, agricultural equipment, etc.).

Textile industries

In the manufacture of jute fabric, for example, a bitumen emulsion can be used in combination with the polyester resin to produce a jute fabric that is more tensile and, above all, less expensive to produce.

Roofing applications

Sealing and insulating

In roofing applications, bitumen blocks are heated in a 1m³ boiler and melted to the required temperature, then poured on the roof, in between sheets of waterproofing. We can find bitumen inside buildings almost everywhere. Our bitumen blocks are also used to repair walkway, trenches, under ground pipes, tunnels, and to waterproof bridges.

Adhesive construction

In roofing, self adhesive bitumen membranes are often used. Based on a polymer modified bituminous, waterproofing sheet membrane used as waterproofing or damp proofing membrane intended for concrete protection. It may be used for horizontal and vertical application for tanking below ground structures, subways and retaining walls.

ASPHALT BASED PRODUCTS

Asphalt based painting

Bitumen Paint is an economical anti-corrosive, and protective solution on a wide range of common building materials especially iron, steel, timber and concrete, fibre reinforced cement panels & masonry. It produces a flexible quick drying coating which is waterproof, weatherproof and corrosion resistant.

Metal corrosion protection

Asphalt base coatings are the most common type of protective coatings used to protect all types of iron, steel, masonry or concrete surfaces, and steel drums. Asphalt base coatings can take considerable abrasion, impact, and temperature changes without creating a corrosive condition.

Dust, noise, and water proof products

Dust-proof products

The binding and sealing properties, strength and re-workability of bitumen make it a very reliable dust collection solution, especially for the treatment and maintenance of transport roads.

Noise-proof products

Our bitumens are also used in automotive audio, loudspeaker construction, vehicle construction, to damp vibrations from sheet steel, wood or aluminum.

Waterproof products

Bitumen is used to produce bituminous membranes, perfect for waterproofing roofs, basements, below-ground structures, bridges and other structures.

RUBBER INDUSTRIES

Rubber

Production of rubber bitumen by blending of bitumen with crumb rubber from scrap tires is not just a waste treating method, but a possible solution for improving the durability of asphalt pavements compared to roads made of conventional bitumen.

Plastic

Among the variety of thermoplastic polymers, polymer waterproofing water insulation manufacturers to modify the properties of bitumen used because these polymers have the potential to be forming again. The most important thermoplastics polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and polyvinyl chloride are. Polyethylene can refine bitumen softening point and penetration bitumen blown in place and some of the moisture needed for insulation.

Road construction

Paving

Known for its adhesive and cohesive assets, bitumen is mostly utilised in the road construction industry. Bitumen is applied on road paving because it is viscous when hot, but solid once it cools down. Bitumen operates as the binder/glue for pieces of the aggregate.

Crack seal

Treating cracks in asphalt pavements is a major part of every maintenance engineer’s work. The objective of any crack treatment is to minimize the intrusion of water into underlying layers of the pavement structure. Such water infiltrates the base layers of the pavement and may lead to pavement structural failures

Vehicle undercarriage

Our blown bitumen is used in car undercoating automobile industry.

Bitumen provides excellent waterproof, dust-proof and noise-proof for automobile undercoating.

Waterproof applications

Cement paving

In the construction field, cement paving is often used for bridges, tunnels, safety barriers, pavements, and sound barriers (high bearing capacity, increased stiffness, lower deformation.

Pipe coating

A bituminous coating can be used both externally and internally on carbon steel pipes. It is usually black, and when applied properly, the bituminous coating offers outstanding cathodic protection needed for almost all structural steel pipes situated underground.
